Ona Batlle shares an off-pitch look at life at Arsenal in Colney Carpool

Ona Batlle’s first few months at Arsenal take centre stage in the club’s latest Colney Carpool video, with host Frimmy giving the summer signing a ride around the Sobha Realty Training Centre.

Arsenal says Batlle needed a lift to training, and Frimmy used the trip to ask how she has been settling into the club and enjoying life in London. The Spanish defender also talks about which teammates she has quickly grown close to and Spanish cuisine.

The conversation keeps a light tone. Frimmy brings his usual bad jokes, while Batlle joins in with one of her own. She also takes on his target game, though Arsenal’s video description does not say whether she managed to set the top score.

Colney Carpool gives supporters a chance to see Batlle away from the pitch as she gets used to her new surroundings. The club’s video focuses on everyday conversation rather than match action, moving between her early experience at Arsenal, friendships within the squad and food from Spain.

Batlle joined Arsenal as a summer signing, and the video offers a snapshot of her settling-in period at the club. It is available on Arsenal’s website, where viewers can watch the full conversation and see her attempt at Frimmy’s game.
