Brighton’s trip to Bournemouth will start at 8.15pm on Wednesday 2 December, 15 minutes later than originally scheduled, as four of the Seagulls’ December fixtures are selected for Sky Sports coverage.
The Bournemouth match is the first of four Brighton games with confirmed dates and kick-off times. The Seagulls visit Nottingham Forest on Saturday 5 December, with a 5.30pm start, then return to the Amex to face Everton on Sunday 13 December at 2pm. Ipswich Town visit a week later, also for a 2pm kick-off. All four fixtures will be shown on Sky Sports.
Bournemouth’s December schedule has also changed for their away game at Arsenal. That match moves from 3pm on Saturday 12 December to 2pm on Sunday 13 December. Both the Brighton fixture and the Arsenal trip will be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports.
The two clubs’ fixtures on 13 December are at different venues: Bournemouth travel to Arsenal while Brighton host Everton. For Bournemouth fans who have tickets for the Brighton game but can no longer attend, the club says they can contact its ticketing team to request a cancellation. The deadline is Monday 30 November.
The changes come with Bournemouth 15th in the Premier League, on six points from seven games. Their next fixture is away to Manchester United on Sunday 25 October at 2pm GMT, before the revised December schedule arrives.
For travelling supporters, the immediate adjustment is a later midweek start at Bournemouth. The Arsenal trip has also moved from Saturday to Sunday, while Brighton’s December run now includes two weekend home games at the Amex after the visit to the Cherries.
