Nicolò Tresoldi’s hat-trick against Inter has put the Club Brugge striker in the spotlight—and may have raised the price of signing him by around €20 million from last summer’s terms. Milan and Inter are reportedly interested, but Alfredo Pedullà’s estimate suggests any pursuit now starts from a very different position for Brugge.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by FCInter1908, reports interest from both Milan clubs. Tresoldi, an Italian-German forward born in 2004, has scored nine goals in 11 appearances this season. The treble against Inter in the Champions League has brought wider attention to a player Italian clubs had tracked when he was younger, before he moved to Germany.

That attention comes with a sharp rise in the figures being discussed. Pedullà said on YouTube that Brugge could now ask a price closer to €60 million than €55 million. That is his estimate of the club’s likely demand, not a fee Brugge has formally set or an agreed transfer price. MilanNews has separately valued Tresoldi at €50 million.

Last summer’s talks offer a clearer point of comparison. Pedullà said Roma offered €35 million and Brugge wanted €40 million plus bonuses. His current estimate is roughly €20 million above that previous base asking price. Brugge reportedly paid €7.5 million for Tresoldi, so the striker’s scoring run has changed the economics of the opportunity as well as the level of interest.

Pedullà’s criticism was that Italian clubs moved too late. He said Tresoldi had “four or five doors slammed in his face” and argued that clubs needed to act more directly before his recent rise. His point is not that Milan or Inter have agreed a deal, but that identifying the talent earlier would have meant negotiating before the goals strengthened Brugge’s hand.

For Milan, Brugge are familiar negotiating counterparts: TuttoAtalanta links the reported interest to earlier dealings involving Charles De Ketelaere and Jashari. Milan are sixth in Serie A, unbeaten with 12 points from six games, and are due to host Atalanta on Sunday 18 October.

The central question for either Milan club is whether the current valuation still represents value. Tresoldi’s production has made the interest understandable; it has also made the early opportunity Pedullà describes much harder to secure.
