Four changes reshape Monza’s starting XI for Cagliari’s visit, with Dany Mota and Jay Robinson coming into the attack and Manga Foe Ondoa and Saba Goglichidze also selected. Cagliari make one switch: M’bala Nzola starts after being left out against Juventus.
Monza line up in a 3-4-2-1, with Noel Törnqvist in goal and Eddy Kouadio, Goglichidze and Andrea Carboni in defence. Foe Ondoa joins Samuele Birindelli, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and Ricardo Mangas across the midfield line. Mota and Robinson start behind Gustavo Varela.
Cyril Ngonge, Exequiel Zeballos, Lorenzo Lucchesi and Michael Folorunsho drop out of Monza’s starting side from the match against Lazio. Zeballos is unavailable with a knee injury, while Lucchesi is suspended. Folorunsho and Ngonge are named among the substitutes.
Cagliari keep a 4-3-1-2 shape. Elia Caprile starts in goal behind Zé Pedro, Yerry Mina, Juan Rodríguez and Adam Obert. Michel Adopo, Harry Winks and Alessandro Romano make up the midfield, with Daniel Maldini behind Nzola and Paul Mendy. Yanis Massolin moves to the bench.
The table gives the changes added weight. Monza are 15th with four points from six games; Cagliari are sixth on 13. The teams meet in Monza on Monday at 18:30 CEST, with the hosts making the bigger adjustment to their starting XI and the visitors turning to Nzola up front.
