Five goals in seven appearances have moved Alphadjo Cisse into Milan’s contract plans. The club is preparing a renewal for the 20-year-old, including a substantial pay rise, after his recent scoring run featured a hat-trick in the Europa League at Salzburg, Calciomercato.com reports.
Cisse’s current deal runs until 2030, with a salary close to €800,000 a season, according to the outlet. Milan’s reported proposal would add a year to that contract, with an option for another. It is a significant adjustment to a long-term deal already in place: the immediate priority is to reward his form and strengthen the club’s commitment to a young player it sees as part of its future.
The salary plan would rise in stages rather than in one jump. Calciomercato.com reports Milan are considering €1.2-1.3 million plus bonuses for the rest of this season, followed by about €1.5 million next season. The longer-term figures in the reported proposal would climb first to €2.5 million a year and then to €3 million.
Milan have already begun work on the renewal, Gazzetta dello Sport reports, and could hold an initial meeting with Cisse’s representatives next week. The club’s reported aim is to reach an agreement before the end of 2026. Those talks would turn a plan into a negotiated deal; the extension and salary figures have not been presented as settled terms.
Cisse joined Milan from Verona in January after a move to PSV had appeared close, then went on loan to Catanzaro until the end of the 2025-26 season, according to Calciomercato.com. He is also an Italy Under-21 international. The outlet places him among the young players Milan want to build around, alongside Davide Bartesaghi, Francesco Camarda, Christian Comotto and Lorenzo Torriani.
The goals have accelerated Milan’s thinking, but the proposed contract would also map out a gradual rise in pay over several seasons. The next step is a meeting with his representatives, with the club targeting an agreement by year’s end.
