Kolo Muani starts for Juventus as Yildiz misses Lazio clash

Randal Kolo Muani starts for Juventus against Lazio, with Kenan Yildiz ruled out by a foot injury. Davide Frattesi is also in the starting XI, named in Lazio’s midfield alongside Reda Belahyane and Kenneth Taylor.

Juventus’ selection is Guglielmo Vicario, Celik, Bremer, Lucumí, Kalulu, Douglas Luiz, Sarr, Nico Gonzalez, Weston McKennie, Alajbegović and Kolo Muani. Yildiz’s absence is the key change for the hosts, while Kolo Muani gets the start as Juventus prepare to face an unbeaten opponent.

Lazio name Mandas, Floriani Mussolini, Šutalo, Provstgaard, Tavares, Frattesi, Belahyane, Taylor, Isaksen, Noslin and Zaccagni. Frattesi’s inclusion gives him a starting place in a midfield three with Belahyane and Taylor.

The table sets up a significant test for Juventus. Lazio arrive third with 16 points from six games and are unbeaten; Juventus sit eighth on 11 points. A win would give the hosts a chance to close the gap on a side already making a strong start to the campaign, while Lazio can protect their unbeaten record and keep pace near the top.

The match is at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, 18 October, with kick-off at 20:45 CEST. Juventus must take on Lazio without Yildiz, while Kolo Muani and Frattesi are among the confirmed starters to watch in the two teams’ lineups.
