Inter turned a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 win over Bologna, with Marcus Thuram, Carlos Augusto and Ange-Yoan Bonny scoring to complete the comeback. The result gives Inter three points before their home match against Fiorentina next weekend.

Bologna struck first in the 10th minute. Tommaso Pobega finished a move assisted by Juan Miranda to put the hosts ahead, leaving Inter with an early setback to recover from.

Thuram brought Inter level in the 44th minute, converting after Nicolò Barella set him up. That goal changed the score before the teams headed into the second half, giving Inter a foothold after Pobega’s opener.

The visitors moved in front in the 69th minute. Piotr Zieliński provided the assist for Carlos Augusto, who scored Inter’s second. Bologna now had to chase the game, and Inter added a third in the 83rd minute: Carlos Augusto turned provider, setting up Bonny to make it 3-1 and secure the win.

The goals came from three different Inter players, with Carlos Augusto contributing at both ends of the decisive late sequence: he scored the go-ahead goal and assisted Bonny’s finish. Bologna’s early advantage was not enough to prevent Inter from taking the points.

Inter’s next fixture is at home to Fiorentina on Sunday, 25 October, at 12:30 CET. Bologna travel to face Cagliari on Saturday, 24 October, at 15:00 CEST. The win sends Inter into their next league match with a comeback victory behind them; Bologna will look to respond away from home.
