Anthony Oyono contributed five goals and assists to Frosinone’s promotion campaign; now the right-back is committed to the club through June 30, 2029. The extension gives Frosinone a longer-term link with a defender whose attacking output from the back helped them reach Serie A.
The club announced the new deal, citing Oyono’s role in last season’s promotion. The 2001-born defender recorded one goal and four assists during that campaign. Those five direct contributions provide the clearest measure of what Frosinone are retaining: a defender who added to their attack as well as his work at the back.
Oyono has made one league appearance this season, with no goals or assists. That is a small sample, and the contract reflects his contribution to promotion rather than an extended run of appearances in the current campaign.
The renewal is part of a broader sequence of extensions at Frosinone. Goalkeeper Palmisani, defender Gabriele Bracaglia and forward Farès Ghedjemis have also agreed new deals, as the club secures several players for the longer term.
Frosinone are ninth after six games, with 10 points and a goal difference of plus two. Their next fixture is at home to Sassuolo on Friday, October 16, at 20:45 CEST. Oyono’s deal does not change the immediate picture, but it keeps a promotion contributor in the squad as Frosinone continue their Serie A campaign.
