Lecce will take a 26-player squad to Udinese, but Eusebio Di Francesco’s announcement does not reveal his starting XI for Sunday’s Serie A match. The travelling group includes three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards.
Wladimiro Falcone, Bleve and Borbei are the goalkeepers. The defenders named are Dembélé, Gallo, Gaspar, Jean, Ndaba, Scott, Siebert, Tiago Gabriel and Veiga.
Lassana Coulibaly is among the midfielders, alongside Fofana, Gandelman, Gorter, Kaba, Maleh and Ngom. Coulibaly has made one league appearance this season, with no goals or assists. The forwards in the squad are Esteban, Fatah, Geubbels, Monteiro, N’Dri, Pierotti and Štulić.
The call-up sets out the group available for the trip; it should not be read as confirmation of the team Di Francesco will start. The selection gives Lecce options across all four listed positions, but the announcement does not specify how those players will be used against Udinese.
The match is scheduled for Sunday, 18 October, at 12:30. It is the seventh round of Serie A, according to Lecce’s announcement. The next team news to settle is the starting XI, rather than the travelling squad, which is now named.
