Cisse’s five decisive goals give Milan a new option as they track Tresoldi - SportInsight

Alphadjo Cisse has scored five times this season, and every goal has been decisive. That record gives Ruben Amorim another attacking option while Milan monitor Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi, reportedly valued above €50 million. The two developments could change the forward pecking order before Milan decide whether to make a major investment.

Cisse, 19, has made his case with goals rather than a transfer fee. Calciomercato.com says he broke the deadlock against Torino and Juventus, then scored a hat-trick in Milan’s Europa League win at Salzburg. The outlet describes that treble as the youngest by an Italian player in a continental competition.

Amorim has used Cisse as a trequartista or second striker, roles that allow him to attack space and get close to goal. Calciomercato.com also sees him as a possible central No. 9 option behind first-choice Gonçalo Ramos. His ability to fill different attacking roles gives the coach another way to alter the forward line during a match.

That progress matters for Francesco Camarda, whose place in Amorim’s plans is another focus. Calciomercato.com describes this as Camarda’s second genuine season among the professionals after an injury-hit previous campaign, but does not report a specific change to his role. Cisse’s goals, rather than any announced decision about Camarda, are the clearest immediate shift in the competition for minutes.

Tresoldi represents a more expensive longer-term possibility. Calciomercato.com reports that Milan have followed the 22-year-old for some time and that Gerry Cardinale has asked the recruitment team to stay in contact with his entourage. Tresoldi is described as a Milan supporter, but his reported value has risen above €50m and Club Brugge are considered difficult to negotiate with. A summer move is seen as more likely than a January deal.

His hat-trick against Inter at San Siro has drawn further attention, while he weighs his senior international future amid interest involving Italy, Germany and Argentina. Milan are sixth in Serie A with 12 points from six games and visit Atalanta on 18 October. For now, Cisse’s next challenge is to keep converting chances; Milan can assess whether that form changes the urgency of a costly move for Tresoldi.
